Won’t You Be My Neighbor? My Thoughts On Ring Neighborhoods

I am a big fan of Ring, I have been hooked since my first Ring Doorbell and now I have 2 Ring Video Doorbell Pro’s, a Ring Floodlight Camera, a Ring Stick up Camera with a Solar Panel and 2 Ring Chime’s at my house as well as a Ring Video Doorbell and a Ring Chime Pro at my office. I have always had great performance with them and only a few hiccups along the way that Ring Support has been great about working through with me.

With recent app released Ring has introduced the notion of Neighborhoods which finally take the neighborhood watch into the digital age. It allows anyone with the app (they do not need to ha either any Ring products) and an account report crime, emergencies and suspicious activity. This is great for making our neighborhoods safer!

I am in two neighborhoods the one by my home and the other by my office. In these twosuspect-man-phone_v2-ebd3e9347ec991396f0ec4ca60313c96 neighborhoods have have gotten a good number of people into the respective Ring Neighborhoods and have gotten many useful notifications.

I love seeing people report issues I. The neighborhood that will affect others even if only letting me know which roads to avoid on my way too and from the office or home.

Through Ring Neighborhoods, Ring is doing there part in not only creating sage neighborhoods without the need to purchase hardware but also bringing community back to our neighborhoods.

Anyone else taking advantage of Ring Neighborhoods?
