WyzeCam Updates

The latest WyzeCam app update adds some pretty good features but I am most excited about the ability to rotate camera images! Now I can mount my camera upside down and then rotate the image in software. This gives an already flexible camera mount even more flexibility!

Full Change Log:

  • Firmware 3.9.2.30 includes
  • Simplified alert logic for better alert and notification stability
  • Enable recording and pause/resume in playback
  • Enable SD card format
  • Provide option to turn on/off timestamp watermark in video frame

Android V1.2.50 includes:

  • Simplified alert logic for better alert and notification stability
  • Enable recording and pause/resume in playback
  • Support screen rotation
  • Multiple phones/tablets using a same Wyze account will all receive alert notifications. (In V1.1 only one device is notified)
  • Option to turn on/off timestamp watermark in video frame
  • Enable SD card format
  • Provide hardware decoding option

iOS V1.2.60 includes:

  • Enable recording and pause resume in playback
  • Support screen rotation
  • Support SD card format
  • Provide option to turn on/off timestamp watermark in video frame
  • Multiple phones/tablets logged in during past 7 days using a same Wyze account will alert notifications. (In V1.0 and V1.1 we only notify 1 device)
  • Wyze app audio output to Bluetooth speaker

I am pretty excited about some of these features and it is great to see the WyzeCam continuing to get updated with great features.
