Late last week the Amazon Cloud Cam got an update that included the usual bug fixes and what not but also increased the digital zoom from 4-times to 8-times and gave you the option to schedule the camera to turn on and off.
Both of these are a pretty big deal, better zooming can help you identify better what is going on in a recording and scheduling on/off of your Cloud Cam can be super helpful. I am currently doing this with my WyzeCam and IFTTT so that I only get motion alerts while I am away from home.
If you were thinking about an Amazon Cloud Cam this update should make your decision easier not only because of the features added but also it shows that Amazon is actively supporting and adding features to the Cloud Cam.
Anyone have a Cloud Cam? Have you tried the new features? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
